Portage City Councilwoman

Achievements

  • Implemented the All Kids Bike program in ALL FOUR Portage elementary schools
  • Supports police and added K9 unit duty to ALL ride-a-longs with K9 vests donated by a private individual not to increase tax dollars to Portage residents
  • In charge of creating a permanent location for the Portage Farmers Market
  • Received a 1.75M Grant from the State of Michigan to cover the costs of the permanent site for the farmers market
  • Membership to the National League of Cities 
  • Changed several ordinances for small businesses in Portage
